Adele Dorothy Ciampa
was born in New Jersey (USA) on March 22, 1966.
She is perfectly bilingual.
After four years at Medical School, she decided that her future lay in writing,
and graduated cum laude in Literature and Philosophy (History of Religions),
specializing in screenwriting after having published a poetry book - "LARP"
(Stampa Alternativa) - with a group of young Roman poets.
She wrote dialogues for the most important Italian soap-operas, as “Un posto al sole” (Rai 3),
“Vivere” (Canale 5), “Cuori rubati” (Rai 2), and presently writes TV series for main production
companies (among which she has earned a reputation as a great “Bible writer”), besides being a
screenplay reader for Sony Pictures Releasing Italy (Columbia TriStar), and other major

in year 2000 she founded the cultural association “Big Frog Entertainment” with Daniele Cipriani,
involved in film, television, theater, and dance, even through professional workshops.
As a theater director, she directed off-off Broadway shows and was a Jury member at the 24th edition
of the 2002 Fantafestival, and at the 2005 “Fregene per Fellini” Award.
